God Willing
If God is everything, isn’t everything we do all part
of God?
It seems so often, especially when we look at all the "bad" in
the world – the negativity, hate, anger, selfishness, judgment,
cruelty, rape, murder – it seems that these are things not
in alignment with God. It seems that these are out of accord with
God’s true nature. To be in harmony with God, to do God's
will, would be doing "good" – giving, caring, compassion,
humility, kindness, and most of all, unconditional love. It seems there
is a distinct split between what seems good and bad – between
God's will, and mankind's individual free will. All the
negative things in life are the effects of our will straying from
that of God’s.
But isn’t everything God’s will, if everything is
God? We were given the gift of free will, and it is our choice
in everything we do to live a "good" life, or a "bad" life,
our choice to give compassion over hate, forgiveness over resentment,
and love over fear. God gave us this ability to choose "negative" over "positive",
and to choose his will over our will.
So how can all our actions not be His will, if we are always part
of this greater being of God? I believe it is God's will for us
to think we have our own will, so we are free to choose something
else over His true nature. We are shown the shadows, to find the
source of the light. We were given an ego, and we were blinded
to the reality beyond our reality. We were given thought, and a
veil was cast upon our consciousness, and we were driven out of
the Garden of Eden, to see if we could find our way back – our
way home to God’s Love.
There is a divine way of life; a grand plan to what
life is all about. We will soon realize that thought and ego have
been our enemy, and have only strengthened the darkness covering
our true selves, our true divinity. When we finally quiet our minds,
and expel our egos from our own Garden, only then will we see that
all is in accord with God's will. We will realize it was our own
minds creating the illusion that we were somehow not part of God
in this grand school of life. We will see the love and awesomeness
behind it all, and we will fall to our knees in wonder and awe,
in the realization of it all. Even the bad things that occur are
all done out of God's love for us, so we can learn and grow closer
to God through this incredible experience we call our lives.

My Path
I have been shown a path.
A path that I was always following, but could not see. Occasionally,
there may have been a flash of lightning in the rain,
enough of an instant to lead me back to it, but still not seeing
the path clearly, I walked beside it, wondering here and there.
But a dim light is now shining on my path. Enough so that I now
see it, but I still do not know where it leads. I cannot yet see
the end of it, for there are too many twists and turns, and the
light has only begun to shine. The end is still too far away to
see, but the path itself is visible. So I now walk upon it, and
follow it in waking life.
I am on a journey, a journey of discovery, truth,
and new Life. I am not trying to change the whole world at once,
nor tear down traditions nor blaspheme religions. Many do not see
my path, so I do not blame them For trying to pull me away from
what they do not see. I only wish to follow my path and invite
others to follow along... until they see their own.

The Creative Spirit
A Masterpiece in Progress
People love music, artwork, photographs, movies, and so many other
forms of art. They move us, excite our emotions and ignite our
senses. But I think there is even something deeper at work. I think
there is a grander, underlying reason for such joy...
They are all creations. They are all part of someone, and part
of an inspiration and a dream. It is passion is it’s purest
form. A writer loves to write. A chef loves to cook. An artist
loves to paint. We love sharing our creations and true joy comes
from watching others enjoy our creations.
We are all God’s creations. He is the grand artist, creating,
watching, and loving every second of every day, of every year,
of every single life. A picture doesn't have to be a masterpiece
to be loved. We are all loved by God all the time. Good and bad,
right and wrong, young and old. We are all always just part of
the grand creation. We are a masterpiece in progress.
What do you believe makes an artist happier and prouder: creating
the actual art, seeing one of his own finished pieces of art, seeing
it sold and enjoyed by someone else, or seeing his own child learn
from him and continue to spread great works of art throughout the
world, now and long after he is gone? I believe all these things
make him happy, but nothing would bring him more joy then knowing
that his child, his creation who learned from him, is continuing
to spread the love of art and has her own art loved throughout
the world.
What do you think would make God happier? Simply creating something,
everything, and walking away from it? Or do you think, like the
artist and the child, God would want to teach us to be artists
as well? We are his legacy, his continuing creation. We continue
to create and to share the love of creation. God has bestowed upon
us the power of creation, and wants us to grow up to be just like
him. We are the Creative Spirit. It is inside our hearts. It is
free will, and we are free to create whatever we want. The more
we create, the more God loves us. And the better we get at creating,
sharing, loving, and enjoying all of life, the prouder of a father
he will be. He wants us to be better than we think we can be. He
wants us to become great creators just like him. When that day
comes, God will look down upon us, and his smile will light the
heavens and Earth, and his tears of joy will wash away all doubts
and fears we ever had about growing up just like him.
Thank you, great artist in Heaven for letting your creation become
the creator. We may be just learning, but we will make you proud.

Reflection of the Soul
Seeing the Looking Glass
Ever wonder what you look like? All the time, I'm sure, several
times a day, but we just walk over to a mirror, and we find out.
But what if we didn't have any mirrors? In fact, what if there
was no way to see ourselves in any other object. How would we know
what we look like without our reflection? We wouldn't. We wouldn’t
ever know what our face looks like. So how would we find out? From
everyone else.
We would have to ask other people what we look like and ask them
to describe our features. If someone said we had similar features
to someone else, or maybe even looked just like some other person,
by seeing that person, we would understand what we look like. Even
with mirrors, we don’t always see ourselves. We don’t
always realize our own behavior and we don’t always see our
own actions and thoughts.
God needed to place some mirrors around so we could see our true
selves. An actual mirror reflects our physical appearance, so what
would reflect our being? Something needed to reflect energy. Enter
the laws of the universe: the law of cause and effect, the law
of attraction, and Karma itself. We attract things into and create
our lives through cause and effect. Every thought and action we
put out comes back at us. It is reflected back. Welcome to the
looking glass of life. Take a look around at your reflection.
Every experience, every place, and every person in your life is
a reflection of your true being and your thoughts. It is all here
for you. When you look into a mirror, you check yourself. You look
to see if anything is wrong, if anything is out of place. And what
do you do? You fix yourself. That is why the world is reflecting
us. We were meant to look at everything and everyone, and not see
things to criticize about them, but to see our reflection, straighten
ourselves out, learn and grow. We need to start taking a better
look in the spiritual mirror, and we need to fix what is out of
place with our own lives.
The next time you are angry and want to blame or critique someone,
make sure you're just not seeing yourself. Learn who you are by
using your looking glass. We are mirrors to each other, and we
all help each and every one to truly see ourselves. We are not
here to judge each other; we are here to help each other. We are
here to show each other the way, and reflect each other’s
light.

God's Reflection
I wonder if God has a mirror? Can he see himself? If he is everything,
he cannot step away from himself to see himself. He would have
to somehow create a mirror inside of himself, that part of his
being that could reflect his essence and light. So, he created
a different sort of mirror. Life.
We are God's mirror. He sees himself through us. We are his reflection.
That is why he made us in his image. We are creating and reflecting
the light of God back to him so he can see himself. God is everything,
so everything we do is a reflection of God.
Imagine what the world will be when we realize it. How can the
sad state of humanity today be compared to God Almighty? How can
we truly be a reflection of His magnificence? We are only seeing
an instant, not the full image. We look in a mirror, and instantly
see a reflection. If we took a photo every year, at the end of
our life we would have a little movie showing how we grow up, and
aged, and we could watch it all at once. There is no time for God,
so even if we take another 2000 years to finally reflect God's
true beauty... He still sees it all in one motion. He sees it all
now. The beginning and the end of it all.
So don't worry about what we looked like yesterday or even today
as God's reflection. It's tomorrow's reflection we are striving
for, and what a beautiful sight it will be.

Welcome to Life... Welcome to God
God made man in his image. This does not mean that God walks on
two legs. No, it is quite the opposite. The earthly physical body
is merely the container for the image of God. It is the light in
our hearts that is God's image, and we are his children, and we
have a destiny to fulfill. Every being wants to grow up just like
their parent, and so do we. We are meant to take on the role of
our creator to do exactly that: create. We were made in the image
of God as creators. We are here not just to live life.
We are here to create the life we live, and the world
around us.
We are not tourists or just bystanders. We do not just see the
painting, nor simply hear the music. We are the artists themselves,
not just enjoying someone else's creation and not simply watching
as a spectator. We are here to live and play in our own creation.
We are the painters of the canvas, the musicians of the symphony
of life. We are not just reading the book, not just acting a script;
we are the writers and directors of destiny. Welcome to life. Welcome
to creation. Welcome to God.

Human Escape Artist
Everyone loves magic. We are awed by great illusions. Everyone,
even if they never saw him, knows and loves the magic of Houdini.
But he never really considered himself a magician, he considered
himself an escape artist. Many of the world’s greatest illusions
and escapes today are based on Houdini's original acts.
So what is it that is so captivating about a great escape? What
is it that enthralls all of us, even to this day, young and old,
about watching something seemingly impossible happen? There must
be a reason so many have been totally captivated and submersed
in magic. It's because we all love to see someone overcome impossible
odds. We all want to see someone do something we can't imagine,
even if it is just an illusion.
Being in a human body is the illusion of the soul. Our souls are
escape artists, and life is our magic trick. It is our challenge.
The physical body and world becomes our bonds and our chains. Our
essence is trapped, and it is trying to escape. That is what it
is here to do, escape the illusion of our reality.
The escape artist willingly puts himself into bonds, restraints,
and chains. Each time he escapes, he sets up a bigger challenge.
The more seemingly impossible it is, the more willing he is to
try it, accomplish it, and master it. The more threatening and
impossible the trick seems, the bigger the crowd attends to watch.
Each time he escapes, the world marvels in wonder and awe, and
he sets up a new challenge, a bigger challenge. This is the way
of the escape artist.
This is the way of the soul. Entering the restraints and confines
of the human body, and setting up greater challenges each time.
Willingly entering, knowing its goal is to set itself free, and
having all others wonder, marvel, and believe. As with every escape,
the stage is set before entering, and the trick to escaping is
set up before starting the illusion. To the spectators watching
seeing someone else overcome the impossible, even if they do not
believe that they themselves are capable. They see it, and know
it can be done, and so they look for the truth knowing there is
a way.
Every escape artist designs, practices, and knows the trick to
escaping his challenge. No matter how hard it looks, he can escape
the challenge, because he set it up before he entered. He knows
it is an illusion, and he knows how to overcome it.
But things are different in heaven with our souls, because all
the other souls can see behind stage as well, and know the secret
to the illusion. So if your audience already knows the illusion,
there is no great joy, mystery, and wonder. The twist of fate is
that our souls needed to go one step farther. We decided to forget
the secret. We no longer know the escape plans when we jump into
our body. So we planted clues along the way and all others watch
in anticipation and hope that the clues are enough of a reminder
to help us overcome all the challenges and illusions we set up
for ourselves.
Let the magic begin... LIFE!
